Renovated building in the financial district that reflects the grandeur of New York's past.

A modest corner one bedroom suite, within a Beaux Arts former office building, with endless vistas of New York Harbor atop Battery Park serves as office and living quarters. As an architectural element, custom column-like bookcases run floor to ceiling. All other furnishings are kept below eye level to point out the emphasis on the windows and light. A neutral palette is created by using grey and whiten while remembering Henri Matisse's use of black as a color.
